How to read the addressing shown on each floor plan

Luminaire — Addressed
A solid ring with a number indicates that the luminaire has been given a short address. The number shown is that address.

Luminaire — Not Addressed
A luminaire filled amber has not been given a short address yet. See the note below.

Graphic — Sensor
Marks the position of a sensor. The text beneath gives its module reference and its address, such as Oc1.

Marks the position of a switch. The text beneath gives its module reference and its address, such as SW3.

The upper blue line names the control module that the device is connected to.

The lower blue line names the DALI group. Luminaires in one group behave as one.
What “Not Addressed” means
There are two reasons, and only two:
1. The luminaire has not been addressed yet. That work is still to come.
2. A snag prevents it from being addressed.
An amber luminaire is not a fault report in itself. Where a snag is the reason, it is recorded in the project snag report. Refer to that report for the detail.
